Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Price: $2.9 million
This corner penthouse is on the 21st floor of The Parker, a new 22-story, 168-unit condo tower in Boston’s Theater District.
The Parker, which has studios, one-bedroom units and two-bedroom penthouses, is a “building unlike any other in Boston,” said listing agent George Sarkis, of Douglas Elliman and sales director for the building. “We have a small-unit program. Pretty much everything is under $3 million.”
The building has a total of 10 penthouses, with five each on the 21st and 22nd floors.
The Parker is “designed to feel like a private club for residents,” Sarkis said. “It’s a mix of Old World art and design with modern and contemporary. It has a sexy feel to it.”

The two-bedroom condo has an entry foyer and gallery, nine-foot ceilings, oversized panoramic-view windows, five-inch-wide oak flooring, marble floors in the bathrooms, and interior finishes by Linda Zarifi of Zarifi Design. The kitchen features quartz countertops, a marble backsplash with brass finishes and Thermador and Bosch appliances.
Except for a few punch list items, construction is completed, and closings and move-ins are proceeding, he said. Since Sarkis spoke with Mansion Global, this particular unit found a buyer, though he’s listing a very similar penthouse next door for $2.6 million.
There are three levels of amenities, including a roof deck terrace with views of the Back Bay, Boston Common, sunsets over the Charles River, and the Financial District, a second-floor fitness center and an underground area with a bar and lounge, a billiards room and a theater.
The penthouses are special “because you feel so connected to Boston Common,” he said. “When you’re standing in front of the windows, you feel like you’re in the park.”
Stats
The 1,268-square-foot condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

Neighborhood Notes
The Parker is quite centrally located, Sarkis said. “You’re a hop and a skip away from Boston Common. It’s a very walkable location,” he said. It’s a 10-minute walk to the heart of the Back Bay neighborhood and it’s also walkable to the central business district, he said.
“You’re right in the middle of it all,” he said. “You can walk to every major hub of Boston. It’s accessible to every major neighborhood and downtown.”
